Strong participation and generosity from team members drive another successful campaign
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada – October 19, 2026: (TSX: NFI, OTC: NFYEF, TSX: NFI.DB) NFI Group Inc. (NFI), a leading manufacturer of buses and motorcoaches and a provider of comprehensive aftermarket parts and service solutions, today announced that its annual United Way Workplace Campaign raised $528,729 – furthering NFI's commitment to strengthening the communities where we operate.
"Year after year, our team members continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to the communities where we live and work," said John Sapp, President and Chief Executive Officer, NFI. "I'm proud of our teams across North America for once again reaching this milestone. This achievement reflects the collective generosity and dedication of our people and the meaningful impact we can have when we come together around a shared goal."
Henry Dandy, Learning & Development Supervisor for NFI, led the campaign, supported by team members across North America. NFI and its North American subsidiaries participated in the campaign, raising funds through individual, team, and virtual giving initiatives. These efforts reflect NFI's commitment to being an engaged community partner and helping build stronger, more connected communities through collective action.
"For our 2026 United Way Campaign, we saw three locations double their fundraising goals, with more than 15 exceeding their original targets," said Janice Harper, Executive Vice President, People & Culture, NFI. "This achievement is a testament to the generosity, dedication, and enthusiasm of our team members across the organization. Their commitment continues to make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work."
NFI’s 2026 campaign supported various United Way agencies across the U.S. and Canada located in or near communities where NFI has its facilities.
The United Way Workplace Campaign is one of the many ways NFI brings its sustainability value to life. We believe long-term success extends beyond our business and includes supporting the well-being of the communities we serve. Alongside initiatives such as volunteering with The Dream Factory, donating fresh produce through Winnipeg's Garden of Growth, and participating in local community projects, this campaign demonstrates the meaningful impact we can make when we come together to support others.
